Completed in 1968, the houses were 'designed for modern living' by British architect D S Roberts A.R.I.B.A. who had recently received a commendation for his previous work by the Minister of Housing at the Award for Good Design 1966.

Situated a short walk from several tube stations, with excellent access into and out of central London, Deena Close remains a popular place to live as it approaches its 50th anniversary.

In 2017 several houses featured in a Hyundai car advert, recognising their distinctive form.
